Season 1- Episode 11: "Who you going to call..." Another week brings another episode. This weeks episode is the 2016 Ghostbusters starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. This alternative universe Ghostbusters took place in New York, you get to see all the original cast in one way or another. The only one that you don't see is Rick Moranis, who turned down the a cameo for this movie, which Ryan, Jake or Dave was disappointed he wasn't in it, which one of us was disappointed?  We talked about a lot of things in this podcast. We talked about the movie, we discussed what we thought was funny and the backlash of trying to reboot the Ghostbusters Franchise. The Vince Vaughnn affect was introduced by Ryan. We talked about the SNL members in the movie and the First Ghostbusters cast SNL members. Jake and Ryan tried to convince Dave into their way of thinking, Dave was not having that. He was a stick in the mud. This cast of Characters took us on one magical ride in the Ghostbusters Universe, but did it capture your imagination enough to think it was a great franchise movie starter? DJR-Oz the Great and Powerful

Season 1-Episode 10: "Come one, Come all and see the Great and Powerful..." Hello everyone, we are pleased to invite you to come and join us on this awesome adventure through the Land of Oz. Come and hear us express if we thought the movie was a companion to the Wizard of Oz film or the companion to Wicked the play. Hear us talk about James Franco, his portrayal of Oz the Great and Powerful, the sleight of hand trickery he does to the ladies in the movie and to the audience.  We talk about the whole cast and how well they fit into their roles. We discussed why this didn't work as a franchise starter. Jacob gives ideas of what he would had done for the next two movies and Ryan chimes in with some ideas for a mockumentary of the lands in the Land of Oz. These two came up with some pretty good ideas. So, come and join us as we talk about your favorite wizard since Harry Potter, Gandalf or Dumbledore or if He must not be named, Sauraon, Or the White Wizard, or Severus Snape! DJR- He-Man: Masters of the Universe

Season 1- Episode 9- "By the Power of Gray Skull." Ryan, Jake and I broke down He-Man the Movie. It was so fun talking about this movie. We presented the numbers and the competition that came out around the same time. We discussed why the Cartoon was made and the type animation they used when it was produced. We discussed how a lot of Sci-fi movies piggybacked off Star Wars. We talked about the expectations we went into watching He-Man and if the movie met or exceeded those. We discussed the nostalgia for the cartoon and if the movie ruined the nostalgia or help it. We brought up Dolph Lundgren and how perfect he was to play He-Man, then we discussed an alternative cast for this 1987 movie, then we let all hilarity ensue when talking about this wonderful alternative cast. We discuss Curtis "Rampage" Jackson as a viable B.A. Baracus, we talk about Liam Neeson's certain set of skills that he has to lead his team in clearing their names and living a life of freedom. We talked about "Face" and what Bradley Cooper brought to the love-able playboy. Did we enjoy the Helicopter, shoot in the head Crazy man Murdock as he joined the A-Team crew in their daring escapes? Listen to Jacob talk about how and why he thinks this is the best video game to movie adaption. We talk about the apex of Parkour and how it played in the movie. We discuss the casting of Alfred Molina, Sir Ben Kingsley and many others and how well they played their role in this movie. We wonder why this didn't make enough money for Disney to make another movie. We talk about the competition and how it played a role into the whole success of Prince of Persia. DJR-Season 1: Episode 6: Ender's Game

"I will never salute you Launchie!!!" As a Battle school commander announced to Ender Wiggin. Come and Join David, Jacob and Ryan as we discuss the great movie of Ender's Game!! We jump from topic to topic about the movie. We discuss the book and if the movie is a good adaptation to the book. Ryan and Jacob discuss Harry Potter and they made a little bit of an enemy out of Dave. We discuss the famous quote in Ender's Game, "I think it's impossible to really understand somebody, what they want, what they believe, and not love them the way they love themselves. And then, in that very moment when I love them...I destroy them." Ryan and Jacob really helped try and explain this quote to Dave he just didn't get it. We moved on and talked about the actors and if they were believable. Jacob talks about how in every Harrison Ford film he points and we discuss that. We discuss Viola Davis and her wonderful acting and Sir Ben Kingsley. We talked about a lot of things and it was fun talking and just letting the conversation naturally happen over Ender's Game! We discuss the reality of trauma when is comes to war, the escapes of John Carter throughout the movie, the title of the movie and what it meant to the average movie goer when John Carter was in the theaters. We discuss the acting, the competition of movies out at the same time. The House of Mouse was behind John Carter and why didn't this movie become a success. We discuss the money aspect of this film. We also discussed if we would have wanted a sequel of the movie either in TV or another Film. We got a little personal about my movie library and was asked which movie/s off the top of my head I would be embarrassed to own, come and find out. Does Jake like Johnny Depp's acting as Tonto the faithful sidekick to the Lone Ranger? Does the Lone Ranger have ties to Marvel's Daredevil? Ryan, Jake and I discuss our take on why the Matthew McConaughey vehicle of Sahara didn't hit the in 2005. We talk of the ever increasing budget the movie had, some of the reasons the budget was so big for a flop. The lawsuit, the 2 million dollar scene that was cut from the theater edition from the movie. We discuss the actors that made the movie great and some of the acting that didn't make the movie so great. We discuss the music. We discuss the tie in of the American Civil War.
